The fabric weight is 6oz per square yard or 6.5oz per meter, with a 3% tolerance level. Although this suit is designed for karate, it may be used to practice multiple Martial Arts systems such as Taekwondo. The cross over style jacket is also used in some Taekwondo classes (please consult your instructor).
